Coordinates makes it a snap to convert between the three formats for recording latitude and longitude: decimal degrees, degrees and decimal minutes, and degrees-minutes-seconds. Watch how to use Coordinates.
Just enter the coordinates in the format you have and the conversions are made immediately. All three coordinate notations are displayed at once. To set the hemisphere, just click on the north-south and east-west buttons on the right. If you enter a negative sign in the degrees field , it will automatically set you to the western or southern hemisphere.
Coordinates can display your current position using the iPhone’s built-in GPS. The precision of your GPS fix is displayed below the “find me” button.
Press the “map it” button to display your current position in the iPhone’s Maps application.
